For firearms that need a deeper clean, we utilize an ultrasonic cleaning system to help remove fouling, carbon, old lubricant, grease, and debris from difficult-to-reach areas.
Ultrasonic cleaning is especially useful for small components and areas that can be difficult to thoroughly clean using traditional methods alone.
After cleaning, appropriate components are dried, inspected, and lubricated before reassembly.
We also offer cosmoline removal services for AK-pattern rifles and other applicable surplus firearms.
Cosmoline and similar storage preservatives were commonly used to protect military firearms during long-term storage. While excellent for preventing corrosion, old cosmoline can work its way into small components, crevices, and other difficult-to-clean areas.
